Award of Merit – Tom Barrett

“Tom has worked behind the scenes for many years training our members and board about irrigation and green infrastructure systems, as well as strategic and long-range planning.

In addition, over the past two years, he took on the large task of organizing our Certified Landscape Technician Committee and the first presentation of the great Certified Landscape Technician Test Weekend at the Daniels Turf Center at Purdue University this past September and October.

Tom works tirelessly for our industry by teach, training, and living by example.  He generously shows us hot to be creative and take control of our futures.”

Tom Barrett Named to INLA Board of Directors

I’m proud to announce that I have been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Nursery and Landscaping Association (INLA).

INLA is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is “to elevate the level of professionalism through education and networking.”

I have been a member of INLA for a while now, and I love being able to contribute to the organization’s success. INLA does wonderful things for the horticulture industry, and I look forward to continuing to drive those initiatives in my expanded role.
