Local Sustainability Expert to Speak at Chicago Earth Day Fundraiser
Chicago –Tom Barrett, nationally-recognized rainwater and sustainability expert, will be the featured speaker at Earth, Wine, and Fire Earth Day Benefit. Barrett will be discussing sustainable development as part of this special Earth Day event. He will be available for interviews regarding Earth Day throughout the week of April 19.
“Earth, Wine, and Fire is a great event,” said Barrett. “I’m honored to be a part of it, and to help raise money for the Center for Neighborhood Technology. Making our cities greener and more sustainable is necessary for our future, and improves our quality of life.”
Earth, Wine, and Fire will be held April 23, 5-11 p.m., at the Peggy Notebaert Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Dr., Chicago. Tickets are $25 in advance, or $35 at the door.
